(HR Record) – The house, last night, voted to find former IRS official Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress for refusing to answer questions regarding the agency’s selective scruitiny on specific tax-exempt groups.
Although Congress can’t go after Lerner themselves, it is the power of a US attorney in The Justice Department to make that decision.
You may have heard recently of the victory of Coalinga’s California Chrome. According to Alan Sherman, who oversees the horse on the owner and trainer’s behalf, said the colt will resume galloping Today and head to Baltimore early next week to prepare for the Preakness on May 17th.
In High School Baseball, the Dos Palos Broncos beat Tranquility on Monday 28 to 0. – Today, they head to Mendota for their final league game.
The Firebaugh Eagles beat Avenal 31 to nothing and they are heading to Coalinga in their final League game. First pitch for both games expected at 4 PM.
