Central Valley News, I’m Edmer Archila,
A man named in a civil lawsuit alleging his welding company was the cause of a Boston brownstone fire that claimed two firefighter’s lives says he didn’t do it.
Giuseppe Falcone is being sued by Michael J. Callahan, an estate executor which owns the apartment that burned.
Falcone argued in his filing that he wasn’t welding and the company (D&J Iron Works) doesn’t exist.
City officials have said they believe the fire was caused by welding sparks and slag blown over to the apartment by the strong winds.

Back here at home, Two men were rescued after their boat capsized while fishing.
The Sherrif’s Department said the men were fishing in the Mendota Slough around 7 pm Monday night when their boat began to leak. They tried to make their way back shore, but the boat flipped over, leaving them without life vests, but with enough breathing room to yell for help. The men were rescued at around 1 am on Tuesday and both men are ok.
